Sites Like Netflix With Free Trials

We love a good streaming site. Settling down on the sofa in the evenings and watching the next latest and greatest box set is awesome. Lots of us have access to more than one and the price of these streaming sites can soon add up. Especially when the companies raise the prices slightly, every so often. An extra £1 a month is £12 a year, which is more than the price you'll usually be paying for one month! One of the best ways to find the streaming site for you is to not only see what they offer and what you'd actually watch, but use the free trials on offer in order to ‘try before you buy'. Let's have a look at sites like Netflix with free trials.

Sites Like Netflix With Free Trials

Now TV

First on our list of sites like Netflix with free trials is from Sky. Sky's streaming service is called Now TV and it's been around for a while. If you love Sky content but don't want to pay for a full subscription, this could be for you. Maybe you only want access to the entertainment side of things, or the movies. There is an option to only watch sports, or reality TV too. You can even simply have a kids pass which gives you access to lots of children's TV shows which will keep the little ones busy. The free trial disappeared for a while but at the time of writing this you can choose a couple of different options.

Sports isn't available on a free trial but you can try Entertainment, Sky Cinema, Kids, hayu and NOW TV Boost for 7 days before you start getting charged. Now TV gives you higher quality picture and audio whilst also letting you stream to 3 devices at once instead of the usual 2. If you haven't yet watched Game Of Thrones or fancy some blockbuster movies on demand, Now TV is perfect for you.

Amazon Prime Video

The streaming service from Amazon is a great addition to our list of sites like Netflix with free trials. You can get 30 full days of free trial before you start getting charged £7.99 a month. This gives you plenty of time to watch new movies like Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and 21 Bridges, alongside trilogies like The Hobbit. TV shows on Amazon Prime Video include The Walking Dead: World Beyond, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Carnival Row, The Boys and The Grand Tour. You'll also enjoy unlimited One-Day Delivery on millions of items from Amazon as well as ad-free music streaming with Prime Music and much more. You might as well start your free trial today!

YouTube Premium

YouTube Premium seems a little bit like the poor cousin in terms of content available. However there are benefits of taking advantage of it's one month free trial. With YouTube premium you can watch YouTube videos ad free as well as listen to tracks via YouTube Music, again, ad free. There are some original movies and TV shows to watch and you might find something that grabs your interest. Try Step Up: High Water, Impulse or Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes On Television. YouTube's most popular series Cobra Kai (yes, the continuation of The Karate Kid movies!) has been picked up by Netflix. You can also watch B-movies such as The Thinning, starring everyone's favourite YouTuber Logan Paul.

BritBox

A recent addition to the list of streaming sites like Netflix with free trials is BritBox. It allows you to watch the best of British drama, comedy, documentary and film from BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. Binge watch Friday Night Dinner, Doc Martin, The Good Karma Hospital and Broadchurch, all ad free. Catch up on Peep Show, Doctor Who and Downton Abbey without having to sit through those pesky adverts. You can also watch the BritBox original series Spitting Image which has returned to our screens after many years. Enjoy a 30 day free trial before you start getting charged, but with no contract and the ability to cancel anytime, you can utilise that free trial to the max.

There are plenty of free streaming sites which let you watch content on demand. BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5 let you catch up on all those TV shows you know and love. Watch Neighbours, Police Interceptors and UFO Hunters on My5. Enjoy Made In Chelsea, The Great British Bake Off and Educating Greater Manchester on All 4. ITV Hub brings you on demand The Morning, Emmerdale and Coronation Street. BBC iPlayer let's you catch up with His Dark Materials, Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Strictly Come Dancing. You don't have to pay to stream great content and lots of these sites have movies on demand too.

What About Disney+?

You might have heard lots about Disney+ and are wondering why we haven't included it on our list. Disney+ has dropped it's free trial. So can't really be included on a list of streaming sites like Netflix with free trials. It does have wonderful content though and you can sign up for £59.99 a year. This is actually quite cheap when you compare it to the prices of other sites. With the entire Disney film back catalogue, along with Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, fabulous content from National Geographic and lots of original shows such as The Mandalorian, it's great! You might not get a free trial but the Disney reputation speaks for itself.

Save Money On Netflix

After all of that, if you're still wanting to stick with Netflix, there are ways to save money on your subscription. Without a free trial, Netflix currently gives you your second month free if you pay for your first one. Which is basically two months for the price of one. You can also choose your Netflix package and they are priced at £5.99, £8.99 and £11.99. The different packages give you different quality of streaming along with more screens to watch at the same time. Figure out which one of these is perfect for you. That way you're not paying for something you're not using. Split the cost of a Netflix subscription with a friend to save money or pay for it with gift cards you find on offer.
