Kids Party Bag Ideas That The Guests Will Love

Children's parties can be so full of fun but you can find yourself maxing out your credit card as every part of it seems to add up to a nice round total. Whilst the kids might want to go trampolining or have a cinema party, you don't have to add on of those, well, add-ons, which end up doubling or tripling the amount you're paying. Children's parties are all about making amazing memories. There are lots of ways to send the guests home with a little something at the end of the party without that being a huge expense as well. You can go the traditional route or be that little bit more creative. You want to make sure that everyone has a wonderful time and takes away something to remember the party by. Let's look at kids party bag ideas that the guests will love!

Traditional Bag Of Goodies

Lots of parents will go down the traditional party bag route. There is nothing wrong with that at all as kids love rummaging through it and finding lots of little things to play with. From mini water pistols to balloons, bouncy balls to pens and pencils, there are loads of things to include. We're thinking yo-yos, slap bands, key rings, one of those yellow sticky men who stick to walls and windows. You could continue the theme of your party and include a roll along vehicle for a trucks and trains party or a wand for a pretty princess party. These are traditional for a reason and whilst some parents might look at it as a bag of tat, the kids, who it's actually for, will love a bottle of bubbles

A Novel Approach

How about giving your party guests something that they can keep and use over and over again. A story book will last for an entire childhood, maybe two childhoods! You can get some great bundles of story books on offer at places like The Works. 10 books for £10 is an absolute bargain and if your little birthday boy loves Thomas The Tank Engine, you can usually get a bundle of those books to give out to friends. £1 for a guest to take home an actual book that they'll enjoy reading at story time and remember where they got it from, is a great idea. Even better if your party is themed around We're Going On A Bear Hunt. Give every guest their own copy to take home and enjoy at bed time!

Sweets & Treats

Next on our list of kids party bag ideas is sweets! Kids love pic ‘n' mix so why not give them some sweets at the end of the party? There are lots of sweet shops who will create sweetie cones for you to buy which can be themed in different colours, but you could easily make your own to save some cash. Simply use retro looking stripey bags which are really cheap to get hold of. We've even seen parents of the birthday kids simply buy bags of sweets to hand out to their guests. You know, the big bags of Fruit Pastilles and Maltesers.  There is also a huge benefit of saving the sweet until the end of the party. You don't have to cope with the sugar high when they eat them all, as they'll be well on their way home by then!

Make Their Own

Lots of parties these days are based around an activity. It could be going to paint pots which are then fired and picked up a week later. Maybe it's an activity during the party where they can create their own t-shirt or paint their own canvas. With this in mind, the effort and money put into that activity is plenty and they're making their own party bag item which they can take home with them. It's one of a kind, made by them and there is nothing else quite like it. The perfect memento of a fabulous day!

A Fabulous Photograph

Depending on your budget, you could hire a photobooth for the kids to enjoy posing in. A huge benefit of this is that they'll usually get a print out there and then to keep and take home. Of course, there is an added expense to hiring a photo booth. It could be much more money than the venue hire! Alternatively you could set your own up and enjoy snapping pics of the kids having lots of fun. You could then email them to the parents at the end of the party. Maybe just be sure to get a decent shot of every party guest and then this can be sent with thank you cards, giving them something to remember the day by.

The Experience Is Enough

Sometimes we can give too much. So much that it is simply forgotten. The experience of going to a party is awesome. From the invitation, to the anticipation and then the event itself. If we add more on top of that the event and experience can be pushed aside and forgotten. The joy of spending time with friends, bouncing around on trampolines and then eating a hot dog and chips is awesome. Do we really need an additional bag of stuff to take home? Surely a slice of cake wrapped in a napkin is more than sufficient?

Your children's party is so important. Mums & dads remember them forever and your kids will have so much fun enjoying celebrating their special birthday. Birthdays should be celebrated well as we never know how many of them we'll get. You could be go karting, or bowling, or you might even hire a bouncy castle for your back garden. Perhaps the kids want a Nerf party or simply fancy a kick around on the local park. Whatever you get up to and whatever your kids big birthday idea, make sure you enjoy every party. Come up with some fantastic kids party bag ideas that will help everyone remember the day for years to come.
